Knucklebones Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026

Knucklebones collects no personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no servers. Nothing you do in the game is sent to me.

This policy covers the Knucklebones app for iPhone and iPad, published by Selim Onder. It explains what little there is to explain, in plain language.

What stays on your device

The game saves your settings, run progress, collection, and goal progress as files on your device. They never leave it through the game. Deleting the app deletes them. Your device may include these files in its normal iCloud or computer backups: those backups belong to you and are governed by Apple's terms, not mine.

Game Center

Achievements, the daily leaderboard, and challenges use Game Center, a service operated by Apple. It is optional: if you are not signed in, the game simply plays without it. When you are signed in, your scores and achievement progress are processed by Apple and shown to other players according to your own Game Center settings. I run no servers and never receive this data. See Game Center and Privacy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Knucklebones is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. I never see your payment details.

Children

The game collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR give you rights over data that companies hold about you. I hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on my side. If you have any question about this, email me and I will answer personally.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated first and the effective date above will change. The current version always lives at this address.
