KNUCKLEBONES

Press kit. Two friends. One neighborhood stoop. A dice roguelike for iPhone and iPad.

The game in one minute

Knucklebones is a dice roguelike about two friends and one stoop. The rule takes a minute: roll, place, knock Kit's matching dice off the step. Then fifty-three relics bend that rule without replacing it, and twelve evenings become a run.

The phone is the die. Shake to roll or tap ROLL; the roll is one haptic gesture (a thump as the die leaves your hand, a tumble, a click as it lands) and the board tilts with the accelerometer. Kit sits across the board, talks back, and concedes the stoop when you beat him twelve times.

Kit

Kit, a kid in a blue cap, above the Knucklebones wordmark

Kit is the rival. He sits across the board every round, greets you when the streetlight comes on, complains when you knock his dice off the step, and gives up the stoop when you beat him twelve evenings running.
